ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2022 (AUSTRALIA)

 ENGLAND CRASH PAKISTAN IN THE FINAL TO WIN THE ICC MENS T20 WORLD CUP FOR THE SECOND TIME.

NEWS 1:So it’s a win for the English team finally. It was the final they have played on at the MCG stadium in Australia against Pakistan. Ben stokes played a vital role for the England team to win the match against Pakistan. It was a five wickets win for the team today. Ben Stokes was the hero of this match and saved England from losing to the Pakistan bowlers. He scored his maiden t20 international fifty and lead England to the winning side.

                    The score was 137/ 8 from pakistan. Where Babar Azam scored 32 off 28 and Shan Masood was the highest run getter for the Pakistan team with 38 runs of the board from 28 balls. The Pakistan openers failed to give a good opening score for the team. The England bowlers made the Pakistan batsmen fell short of runs earlier. Sam Curran in the first innings took 3 wickets for just 12 runs who was the highest wicket taker for the English team.

NEWS 2:Later in the second innings it was the target for the England team to score 138 runs from 20 overs. Openers did not stand strong and lost early wickets. But Ben stokes was the last one to stand out and score fifty runs for his team. Pakistan bowlers managed to stop runs from being flowing but later Ben stokes managed to get his team a trophy. Haris Rauf took two wickets for his team and ended on the losing side.Player of the match was given to Sam Curran for his brilliant bowling performance. He managed to take 3 wickets just by giving 12 runs for the opposite team. Later player of the match was also awarded to Sam Curran with 12 wickets in this tournament from 6 matches.

NEWS 3:England team is the first team to have both the 50 and 20 overs World Cup with them actually. All the players played well for their team and helped their way to the winning side. Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan were so economical in their bowling with good bowling figures. Shaheen Afridi was off the ground due to his injury and he just bowled 2.1 overs in the second innings.

NEWS 4:This was a vintage match for the both teams because the same happened in this same ground in 1992 with England taking on Pakistan in the finals and it was Pakistan who clinched the World Cup. So never there was trust in this team that this team would come to finals. It was when India beat Pakistan and Pakistan lost with Zimbabwe. But Pakistan finally managed to enter into the finals but it was England who won the match this time and clinched their second t20 World Cup title.
